Body Conditioning

Body conditioning classes are designed to improve cardiovascular fitness,  build strength, enhance flexibility and improve coordination. To promote safe dance technique. Classes are designed to meet the student’s needs, enabling them to reach new heights in their dance training. 

 

Conditioning is not just a supplement to dance training, but an essential component. It plays a crucial role in managing the physical demands of dance, protecting the musculoskeletal system for long-term health and well-being, and most importantly, enhancing dancers’ technique and performance, instilling a sense of confidence and reassurance. 

 

When a dancer’s body is physically and psychologically fit, it is primed to meet the technical demands of dance and fully unleash the dancer’s artistic potential.

Progressing Ballet Technique

Progressing Ballet Technique is a programme designed to enhance dance technique through building strength and flexibility. The methodology incorporates props, including Therabands, Fusion Balls, and yoga balls, to provide dancers with the opportunity to experience correct muscle engagement through Pilates-based exercises that inform dance technique—enhancing dancer's awareness of weight placements and alignment. 

 

Progressing Ballet Technique is a system of training that can be utilized by dancers, gymnasts, athletes, and non-athletes alike. The program enhances flexibility, muscle strength, coordination, balance, concentration, musicality, artistry, and performance. It encourages the use of imagery to aid in accomplishing goals, whether it's a higher development for dancers or building core strength and flexibility for others. With these benefits, you can be confident that you're making the right choice for your physical development. 

 

Classes are not just about learning, they are about having fun and feeling included. Suitable for ages 6 years and over, these classes are designed to be enjoyable and inclusive. The exercises are performed to music, creating a lively atmosphere that encourages the development of musical skills.
